Make a Transfer
Follow these four simple steps to make a transfer request in the Baird Online Mobile App.

STEP 1
Verify your identity
Before you can make a transfer, you will be asked to verify your identity using multifactor authentication. This added step helps protect your account and your information.
Choose an authentication method:

Receive a code via SMS

Call the Baird Online Service Desk
Enter code:

Enter the code on your device to complete identity verification.

Step 2
Select your accounts
Select the accounts for how you’d like to fund your transfer.
Select Source Account:
-
The Source Account is an external account you would like to transfer money from into one of your Baird accounts.

You can use existing transfer instructions to submit a new digital transfer request.

Accounts previously added by your advisor team will appear in the list of available source accounts.

You can add an external account using Instant Account Verification (IAV).
-
Once an account is digitally verified. The available balance will display next to the account. (It may reflect a previous day’s balance). You can refresh the account connection to update values or continue with your request.
Select Destination Account:

Select the Baird account you with to transfer money into.

Step 3
Enter a transfer amount & schedule date
Transfer Amount:
-
Maximum Transfer Amount: $250,000
-
Minimum Transfer Amount: $0.01
-
If your external account was verified using IAV, available balances will display automatically.

If the account is not digitally linked, you’ll be prompted to confirm the transfer amount and availability of funds.
Transfer Schedule Date:
-
Select the date you want the request to be submitted.
-
Calendar defaults to the current date.
-
You can schedule up to 2 weeks (10 business days) in advance.
-
Non‑business days and holidays are unavailable for selection.

Step 4
Review & Submit
Review:

Before submitting, you can review and edit your transfer details, including:

Once everything looks right, submit your request with confidence.

Notifications & Updates
We will keep you updated on the status of your check deposits with email notifications and My Updates in the mobile app. You will receive an email notification when the transfer request is scheduled and when the transfer is complete.

Mobile Transfers
The Baird Online Mobile App lets you quickly and securely move money into your Baird accounts in just a few steps. However, first you will need to add an external account in order to make your first transfer request. Additionally, you can view your transfer activity in the app.
Add External Accounts
Follow these four steps to add external accounts in the mobile app.

Search for your financial institution.
Select/Search Financial Institution:

Enter financial institution by name using keyword search

If there are multiple sites for the same institution, verify the site name and link

STEP 2
Sign in & verify your identity.
Enter your User ID and password and complete multifactor authentication. If you are unable to verify identity, you may need to try logging in to your financial institution directly before using those credentials.

Step 3
Select the accounts you want to add.
External accounts linked to the selected Baird account.

Step 4
Save & Finish
External accounts are now linked.
